The ’90s is a constant inspiration in their designs but Manila based label, Proudrace makes sure that they deliver it in an eclectic, youthful and modern package.They are a duo from different backrounds.An Industrial Designer and a T-shirt designer got together to create clothes that reflects their combined personalities.
It’s all about the use of different materials, textures, details and silhouettes to come out with pieces that are unique and subscribes to no particular trend. Proudrace has been creating minimal pieces and re-interpreting traditional garments into their own aesthetic. The label’s been focused in making gender-neutral clothes with their trademark raw finish. Moving forward with their own distinct style, Proudrace found a common ground to produce clothing that is raw and minimal,neo grunge and a bit kooky at times. It’s androgynous without being contrived, coherent and definitely wearable.
