If you are a toy enthusiast, you will recognise Arkiv’s iconic ‘Arkiv Instant’ vinyl toy figurine, his redesign of Mickey Mouse for Disney Asia, and his famous ‘SUMO’ toy. This will be Singapore’s first designer toy-inspired art exhibition and an opportunity to see the works of an artist who has amassed a cult following in the toy art scene.
Over the weekend, there will be two student dialogue sessions with Arkiv and live collaborations with top local artists, EeShaun and Wanton Doodle. It would be an interesting and intimate experience for audiences to see these talented artists at work.
Be at the opening reception on 10 Nov where there will be a worldwide release of ten limited edition bronze ‘SUMO head sculptures. Light refreshments and drinks will be served. The exhibition will be held at White Canvas Gallery, 78 Guan Chuan Street, Singapore 160078
