director / art director for the film and as the team representative
WHAT’S THE OVERALL FEEL AND DIRECTION DO YOU HAVE IN MIND FOR THIS FILM:
the direction of the movie is mainly mythical , we want to make it epic , a series of contiuous visuals that will haunts your mind for many weeks to come! for the overall feel, we have references a lot of mystical and witchcraft into our elements, butoh dance is also another thing that inspires us in doing the film.
HOW DID YOU CONCEPTUALISE THIS:
We will add CGI where necessary, but mostly we will try to get the overall mood from the model Yuliya from Phantom managements. She’s very strong, when she pose for the camera i could just feel inspired by her movement and her looks. she’s my muse.
WHAT IS THE INSPIRATION BEHIND WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING FOR THIS PROJECT:
The inspiration comes from the story ” The Nutcracker ” which is also Pauline Ning’s inspiration for the F/W collection, we are not re-telling the story , but we did take the prologue of the story into the elements of our works.

i usually takes my inspirations from everything outside the pathway, i always have been fascinated with architecture, mythology, ancient civilization and people around me!
WHAT INSPIRED YOU TO DO WHAT YOU DO:
People around me, especially this team, it gives me a jolt in my bloodstream when i see dedication and passion. i am fortunate to have such solid team who are very passionate at what theyre doing. for me passion comes first. being able to do what you really feel strongly about , its priceless
WHAT ELSE DO YOU DO:
im also a visual communicator, aside from my fashion based projects i write and conceptualise designs for many corporate and retail based brands
